When did you first take baby out for walks?

Assuming the weather is nice, how early can you take them out for a walk? And for how long?

Started at about 4-5 days. Just make sure they're cosy and not long fed. At first I used a pram and then later started to use the sling as well. I loved our daily walks!

When we got home from the hospital we started going for walks every day unless it was really shitty out

When he came home from the hospital the next day we took him for a short walk. He was 6 days old. We carried him in a Swaddle blanket and had an umbrella over him. We only went about a block because I had just had a c section. He's gone outside every day since then. Babies get bored inside and the fresh air is good for them.

We went out at 3days old and we now go out daily (regardless of weather) at 4mnths old.

So long as you dress them appropriately any time is good!!

Any time, it's good for them. All you have to do is keep their carriage covered completely (a thin blanket works amazingly for this) and don't keep them out if they start to really fuss.

I took my daughter on a walk starting at five days old. I took her in a carrier, and we only went around the block twice but she liked the movement and I needed the fresh air. We had no bad outcome so we continued every other day from there with longer times outside.

I took my lo out the day after he came home (so he was 3 days old). This was with warm-ish weather, and he was dressed warmly. We went around the block.
