Communication is key, just ask him straight up. If you guys have discussed it before it shouldn't come as a surprise. And the only way he's going to learn is if he tries. Tell him you completely understand that it's his first time and that there's no pressure. That should help ease his mind.

would it be crazy of me to ask my partner to go down on me? we are both very comfortable with each other and have discussed him going down on me before. i just think he gets nervous in the moment cause he's never been down on someone before. i don't even know how i would ask.
