baby shower- buy or don't?
Does anyone have any suggestions on what to buy for a baby shower? I've looked on Pinterest, Amazon, and Etsy for weeks now. I feel like I'm going in circles on what I might need, and what I won't. Since I'm throwing my own shower, I really don't want to waste money. I'd like it to be simple, but still cute and fun. I'm leaning towards the woodland theme, but I only really like the bear, and black and grey color scheme. I'm having a hard time finding anything without red, or lumberjack decor mixed in it too.
So far I've purchased big balloons that read his name from party city, these birch straws, and I plan on using the bear themed photos from his nursery along with his teddy bear for a table prop.
I'm also on the look for metal buckets and
Mason jars.
What else do I need to fill the space and make it feel more baby-ey? What kinds of things do you feel really stood out, or went without use at your shower?
Do I need to get some sort of baby inspired table wear? Or will regular paper plates, cups and utensils do?
What are your thoughts on the triangle set from Walmart? Not on the same page? Get it anyway? 😣 I'm totally NOT a party planner.
