Cake • It's called the American dream because you have to be asleep to believe it.
If you've been through some traumatic experience (or multiple ones) then people say you should see a therapist. But how the hell is anyone supposed to be able to afford one!? I've looked around and they're expensive! ._____. It's like if you're poor and something like this happens to you then you're just screwed. Is there any kind of like "welfare therapy" type thing? Preferrably something that isn't group therapy - I've heard those tend to just be pitty parties of people trying to one-up each other's stories.
