I want to be famous but not for selfish reasons. It's would take up a whole page to explain why I want to be famous so I won't. But I'm 14 and want to be an actress and a model but of course having some fans would boost my career and up my chances. I know it takes a lot of work and isn't easy but I'm willing to commit. I know this probably sounds really selfish and stupid but does anyone have any advice? Or does anyone know anywhere that I could audition for a part online? And also does anyone know how to start my career as a model? And how can I convince my mom to help me out since we don't have a lot of money?

Hey! I model and used to act. The most important thing for you to do in terms of booking is to get to an agency. They can help you with finding auditions, but you need to be signed first.

Look for your local agencies and see what their requirements are for coming in. Many agencies (esp modeling) have open casting days when you can literally just walk in but you'll have to have specific types of Polaroid snapshots. Most acting agencies will have you prepare a short monologue or two to audition for them.

Worse thing that happens? The agency turns you down, gives you feedback, and you come back when you have addressed their feedback. Or...you can just try another agency.

Now...you can do freelance, but that's a bit tricky when you are so young. I would recommend an agency at your age.

well auditions and agents NEVER cost money unless it's a scam. EVER. go to backstage.com and cast it for auditions. just google it all the time. And join the acting group Acting 🎥
