I got the finger prick that screens for trisomy 23, 18 & 21 (Down syndrome) on Monday. Last year my results came back 1 in 5 chance of having a baby with trisomy 13 or 18, and then I miscarried. I don't remember exactly how long the results took to get back. But now I'm impatiently waiting because I'm so nervous something will go wrong again 😥 I'm so scared that if my phone rings it will be the genetic counselor telling me that they found something. So I hoping I don't hear from her because she says no news is good news and I will just get the results in the mail. 🙏🏻
