Pain in the butt...LITERALLY! Help!

For the past week+ I have been experiencing pretty severe pain in my right hip/butt that seems to be getting worse. I'm almost 14 weeks and have toddler at home, so resting & relaxing isn't an option. I have to hobble around, walking is terribly painful, sitting hurts, standing kills.. it's like a sharp zinging pain. Picking up my daughter and carrying her has literally brought tears to my eyes. Help me ladies! What's happening to me? It this pregnancy related or did I maybe injur myself? The pain does not travel down my leg.
