fluid leak or pee?!

Question

Is there any way to know if you're leaking amniotic fluid or just peeing? How common is a fluid leak? I've been leaking something all day, called the on call doctor and he said not to worry but I can't help it, FTM and have no idea. I've also been drinking water all day so my pee is basically clear and odorless. Any experiences?

I have had the same thing for a couple of weeks but I think it's just pee leaking lol I drink about 3-4 litres of water a day and she is on top of my bladder so I just figured I was constantly peeing myself 😂

Could maybe be your cm. Women often get more of it due to pregnancy

17-6 and I'm having the same concern going in on Tuesday to be safe. It's just bizarre I haven't had any cm this whole time and now I have just water substance, no texture no smell nothing and it comes in spurts. Concerning :/ hopefully nothing And we're just over paranoid 🙈

There is a swab test your doctor can do to determine if it is amniotic fluid. I had a fluid leak at 16 weeks with my first pregnancy and it wasnt until my specialist at 21 weeks was comcerned amd did the swab.

Would have been nice to know there was a test the first time around.

I was worried about the same thing. My doctor has told me A yeast infection can cause watery discharge.   At my last appointment, I spoke about being worried that I was leaking fluid and he did a quick test that confirmed I wasn't.  I don't remember the technical name, but he tested the ph level and that showed it wasn't amniotic fluid.
