Tampons ??

I want to start using tampons but I'm a little scared. Any advice and what brands are the best??

Hi! I've actually started using organic tampons. I recently started supporting CORA (corawomen.com) in a pilot that provides organic tampons. This is where I learned that conventional non-organic tampons are made with rayon and cotton that may have been contain ayes with pesticides that can cause serious illnesses. I have actually found that organic products cause me less irritation ( I have sensitive skin)! Check out some research :).

I go with Tampa compact cuz they fit in my purse easier. One less thing taking up a bunch of space with all the toddler stuff I have to carry lol.

I think that plastic applicators make it a lot easier. Especially for the firt time.

I remember my first time I did it wrong lol make sure you put the entire plastic part in THEN push the cotton tampon in and then remove the plastic applicator.

Tampax and make sure to keep them in for maximum 4 hours to be safe from cervical cancer but i love tampons because I makes u feel like ur not on your period. Xx kate

Tampax Pearl is the way to go, either scented or non scented. I usually use the non, just my preference. Don't be afraid. If you get nervous it will be more difficult to insert. Try standing with one foot raised. Also if you use tampax pearl make sure that you try using one with a plastic applicator, not cardboard, easier to use.

Go tampax pearl super's. These allow you to have them in up to 4 hours and works great for me. Don't be worried. As long as you change them and know how to put them properly it's all good! (Directions on how to are in the box)

Menstrual cups are great.  You can leave in for 12 hrs no risk, and they are re-usable.  Plus, they don't dry out your vag on light days
