We started trying to have a baby a year after we were married in 2014.  To our surprise, it happened very quickly and we were pregnant almost right away.  Unfortunately, we lost that baby before week 10 and although it was heartbreaking the doctor let us know that it was very common, so we tried again right away.  This time, it took a little longer to get pregnant, but it was still fairly quick and we got our hopes up, again and again our dreams were shattered when we found that as in with the first pregnancy there was no heart beat after 8 weeks.  Heartbroken, I think that we decided to wait awhile to let my body heal and to let our hearts mend. With both pregnancies I required surgery to remove the baby as my body didn’t want to let go.
