This is why I love this app. For information like this. I never knew you even shower after giving birth nor does a nurse offer to help. I mean of course you shower but you don't even think about that stuff in the process until someone brings it up. Thank you for sharing.

They helped me because I had no feelings in my legs for two days after getting epidural

I did it myself but the nurses offered to help me. They did keep watch over my son for me though, hubs was deployed and my mom had to get to work so I was alone 😬

I did it myself, they asked if I needed help and I told them no I'd have my husband help me if I got in and needed it

I wasnt allowed to shower after my csection as i had serious blood loss it was five days before i was stable enough to stand and my SO helped me. I felt more comfortable with him helping me. After my vbac i showered myself.

They offered to help due to blood loss but my shower had a bench so I did it alone

They will let you shower by yourself. If you need help they can help you. I showered by myself after my son was born, I did have an epidural so the nurse helped me walk to the shower and said to call if I needed help. She stayed in the room by my fiancé and our son. They did wait till about 2 hours or so after I had my son to have me shower.
