Please be honest!

My boyfriend and I have been together almost 3 years. He recently got promoted (a year ago) and does this contract work where he's in another state from Monday to Friday then comes home on weekends. Well he hasn't been coming home on weekends and has been visiting his kids (which is fair I have no problem with that)

But I asked him if there was any chance he could take a day off (like a Friday ) so we can spend time together. I'd take the day off my job too so we can spend a day right. Also we haven't seen each other in almost 6 months. It's turned into a long distance relationship haha.

Before he was like yeah I'm sure I can no problem.

Well today we were talking on the phone and I asked if he could take a Friday off soon. He screamed at me on the phone and said why should he take the day why don't I take the day off instead because he will loose too much money if he takes a day.

I was like we would both me. He was like no and told me I can take the day off, drive 7 hours to see him. Wait until his shift is done that day and we can spend the night together and then have me drive home 7 hours the next morning. Thoughts???
