My daughter has been trying to nurse on my boobs and I've never nursed her before. Only pumped. What could it mean?

This post gives me hope for myself and my daughter! I hope you give it a try if you're comfortable with it. Not sure your reasons for EP. For us, my daughter couldn't handle my milk flow and she lost too much weight so it was really helpful to know exactly how much she was getting. I slacked off on attempting to nurse her for the first month bc I was so concerned about her jaundice and weight loss. I should have been trying every time BEFORE offering a bottle but I didn't and she started to just scream when she got anywhere near my bare breasts. By 3 months I gave up trying bc it was too much for her and heartbreaking for me. Pumping just works for us. My biggest concern is how I'll manage to pump enough when she starts to become mobile! If she showed any interest, I would be all over trying to breastfeed again! Good luck, I hope you keep us updated! 💖
