She is finally here

She is finally here!! My sweet girl was a planned vbac however if she was overdue she was to be c sectioned. We were just a couple days away from my scheduled c so my doctor decided to try an induction to give me one last chance at a vbac. I was admitted at 6 pm on 5/27 and due to a miscommunication wasn't started on pitocin until 11:15. Contractions started pretty quickly.
By 2pm on 5/28 I had been  having steady contractions two minutes for several hours. The doctor checked and I was still only 2cm but he was able to break my water. As soon as he broke my water the contractions got so intense. By 5pm I was in a world of pain but still only two. They were talking about csection if I  continued to not progress. That's when the Lord stepped in.
They gave me an epidural shortly after being checked to calm me. It didn't fully take but it took enough to help calm me down and make the pain bareable. At around 7pm they check and I was 6cm! Yay! It was working. Around 8:15 I was having a lot of pressure. They checked. 9cm! The doctor came in very soon after take a peek as she was face down instead of face up and he wanted to turn her. He looked and I was 10 cm and ready to push! He turned her with a lot of ease and in only 4 contractions (10 minutes total of pushing) she was out!!!
I labored for 22 hours and had little to no progress for the first 18. After that it all just happened so fast. Very blessed to have our sweet rainbow here! ❤❤
