Asking to be induced early?

Question

I'm currently 36+4. I live in Brisbane, Australia. 
Does anyone know if I can ask to be induced early?

Keeping in mind I'm not just wanting this because I want my baby here. It's more for my own health and well being!

I'm a stay at home mum, I look after my 3 y/o son and all the house hold duties while my partner works AND studies.
I'm in constant pain and I feel like I'm always tired and nauseous.

Is it possible to ask for an early induction?

You can make it til the end. Idk about Australia as I'm in my US but here they won't induce non medically til 39 weeks. The end is rough. I know. I have a bad back and hips and I'm 38 weeks pregnant and I'm active duty Army and have two other kids n a dog and I clean cook and do everything. I'm in pain and I'm tired and all. But hang in there!!

The last couple weeks really are important for final development. I wouldn't try to have the baby's before 38 weeks. Having a baby with health concerns would be worse than aches and pains I think.

I'm a stay at home mom, my husband works long hours (never know when he'll be home), I have a one year old who demands to be held a lot and doesn't sleep well, I had 2 pregnancies close together causing a lot more pain this time than my first, sometimes I can barely walk because my hips hurt so bad, and I am exhausted from lack of sleep. I am almost 39 weeks..... you can do it! The pain and discomfort is temporary and worth it for the health of jyour little one. Yeah I wish I could of had her already but she'll be here when she's ready and for now (just like you) the end is in sight. Good luck

I live in Brisbane Australia also and really would love that also, I have a 18 month old and my partner works and I'm constantly tired and have zero energy and I'm in pain from cleaning and constantly picking up after my daughter :( I think the only reason they will is if there was a problem with us or baby :(

I think they will only induce if it's a health issue I'm 36w6d and I go June 1 for ultrasound scan because my son is big and I'm carrying a lot of fluid I'm trying to also see if he is way to big to have a c section I'm scared to push out a 10-11 pound baby so let's seee what they tell me but I don't think they will do it just because u want baby here just yet.
