It has been a huge two days, I'm currently 6w1d pregnant. Sunday morning woke as normal got up to our 14 month old dd then went to my parents for breakfast, it was about 11am when I went to the toilet and I wiped and saw bright red blood with two large clots! I was beside myself and went straight to a&e! They couldn't do much except check my hcg levels and I was unable to get an ultrasound as no ultrasound techs were on call! The bleeding tapered off to spotting and had fully stopped by this morning (Monday) first thing I did was book an ultrasound for this afternoon. I have never been so nervous in all my life! But when I seen that flickering and heard that heartbeat I felt a sense of relief. The ultrasound tech said I looked really good downstairs and could see no signs of further bleeding, my cervix was closed! She also said that baby had a strong heartbeat and all looked good!!! I must say I will continue to walk on eggshells until I hit 12 weeks but it has honestly been the most trying days both mentally and emotionally. I have never been so scared!!!
