Hi there, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on how to introduce breast feeding to an older stepchild? My stepson primarily lives with us and is almost 10 years old. He has never been around breast feeding and I'm not even sure if he knows that it's a way of feeding a baby. He's only ever been around bottle fed babies. I don't want him to get embarrassed or akward around me with this but I'm just really unsure how to go about it. At the same time I want to feel comfortable in my home breast feeding while he is there not like I have to run and hide in the other room. I'd appreciate any advise you may have on the situation.
