What would you rather get?

Question

Bf is leaving for Airfore Basic Training soon. He asked me if I would rather get all of his calls home or all of his letters. Having a hard time with this decision. If you have a similar situation or any advice for me, I'd love to hear it! Thank you ladies in advance.

My bf went to usmc basic training almost 4 years ago and wrote me nearly everyday. I was always so excited to check the mail and think of things to talk about when writing him back. It was romantic and exciting and when I heard his voice again after those months it was the best feeling ever.

My friends BF is in the marines. In basic training they wrote each other letters, it was really romantic lol. They would like kiss the paper and she would spray her perfume on it. It was cute

Letters cause he can literally write you everyday my best friends husband in the navy and sometimes he can't call home for 3-4 days  the most she said was 6 days and she cried and waited by the phone everyday until she remembered his letters and would sit and read them... also she kept a bunch of his shirts he had work in side ziploc bags to cuddle with on rainy days or days she felt sad...

I would want him to call so I could hear his voice but once in awhile have a letter just to have his hand writing and just have something from him to have close when you miss him so you can read it over again.

My brother is a marine, I got letters from him all throughout basic and loved it. I've kept every one and sometimes I just read through them all. It's better to have something to hold onto, personally.
