What cycle day should I start doing OPKs?

I'm new to opks and don't know what day to start taking them. My period stopped last night, today is CD5

I started the day after my period because I wasn't sure when I was ovulating.... I'm glad I started then because I found I ovulate pretty early in my cycle.
