Fussy Girl
My girl is a beautiful, healthy, amazing... drama queen. I love her, but she sure is a firecracker!
She's a healthy eater, and a great sleeper. She's producing the right amount of wet and dirty diapers per 24 hour period, her arms/legs/neck are incredibly strong... all signs point to, "you're doing a bang up job, new mom who doesn't know what in the world you're doing."
However, it sometimes feels like she doesn't much like being awake. Not even when she's fed, clean and just recently slept. She doesn't like being alert for very long before she starts crying even though all her basics needs are met.
We can get tummy time in and a small window of relatively quiet alert time with her, but it's few and far inbetween.
Is this normal? Are other moms out there in the universe going through this with me?
I suppose, as a new mom with no real expectations, I thought I'd have more awake time with my daughter without crying.
