Paragard mid cycle bleeding--- please read & help!!!
I am 4.5 month postpartum.
I have had the paragard iud for about 2.5 months now. When I had it inserted it may have induced a period, I am not sure. Then about a month later I had a period and now I'm mid cycle, started having brown discharge and now I'm having period like bleeding.
Is this breakthrough bleeding? A period? Is my body trying to regulate cycle post baby? I stopped breastfeeding about a month ago. Just trying to get all this sorted out.
Trying to figure out whether I'm having a period or not has been difficult postpartum. I know it takes a few months for the paragard to settle in and anything is possible but I'm just concerned. My ob doesn't seem concerned.
Anyone else have similar issues!!!???
