Could dehydration cause this many contractions??

I'm afraid if I call they'll just say I'm dehydrated because I've only had maaaaaybe 25 oz of water today

It happened to me and I was on IV and my body took a whole bag and then some.. that's why they always say 'make sure you drink your fluids to stay hydrated'

I would go in. You may need an iv to get hydrated. How far along are you?

Happened to me today! Went to the er, baby was fine. Drank 3 big cups of water,  contractions gone. Scary stuff!

You have to stay hydrated, my midwife said if this happens to gulp a whole water bottle then keep drinking for an hour and if it doesn't stop then you need to go it and also having a full bladder can cause contractions

Please start drinking something like Hydralyte or gastrolyte - not gatorade or powerade  - sports drinks have too much sugar in them. The hydralyte contain essentials nutrients such as potassium and sodium (which is what your cells are made from). I call it "food water". When you're dehydrated, normal H2O can dehydrate you further, ironically enough.
This is what the hospital told me (I have hyperemesis) and so I've only had to go to hospital twice in 6 weeks. So drinking the hydralyte seriously works.

yes you need to be drinking a lot more than that. & idk what you've done today but dehydration & cleaning would cause that. honestly i'd go in & get some fluids. happened to me.😢

100% yes but if i were you id still go in to rule anything out and to get some fluids. I was in the hospital on saturday from 730am till 7pm for the same issue😭
