I just started birth control pills about 2 months ago so I'm new to this whole thing.

My Dr. prescribed me the 21 day pack of pills (so, none of the placebos...) and he told me to take it every day. The first month after starting was an extremely less painful period, but was 10 days long rather than 5, which in my usual flow. Same with the second month. Now this month, I had one day of spotting (two days ago) and nothing since. Is this normal? My boyfriend and I have done it once (since last month) while protected, and the condom did not break or anything... should I be worried?
