My friend thinks it's normal that at 23 she has had sex with more than 10 men

What's normal? I don't understand why someone's body count is relevant to anything. 1 partner or 100 it has nothing to do with the kind of person she is.

It kinda feels like you are attempting to slut shame your friend. There's nothing wrong with having 1 or 100 partners at any age once your legal.

Everyone is different. I don't think there is a normal number. I'm 26 and have been 3 men. Is that normal? I dunno. Why are numbers important?

I don't see why the number matters. It's all personal preference and, sometimes, circumstantial. I've only been with two men, but that's because I started dating my now-husband when I was 17. If I hadn't, my number would be higher. No shame to have a high number, low number, or no number at all.

Why are we focusing so often on numbers? I know women who have had that many partners or more by that age and I know women who have had none by that age. Neither is more 'normal' than the other and neither is wrong for their active or not active sex life.

What you hope to do with this is shame your friend for embracing her sexuailty and I won't be a part of that.

I think its great she has a high sex drive and ain't afraid to show it ,that just means she loves herself and other people. Its 2015 and its a good thing for people to explore there sexuality live and love :)

What bothers me is that people do not seem to value sex or their bodies. To me, sex is a special gift that I have only shared with my husband .. And I don't plan on sharing it with anyone else... Ever. Sex isn't a game to me.  It's a special bond that I have with my husband. It's a way to show him that I love him. I believe that when you have sex, you become "one" with the person you have sex with. It's not very romantic to become "one" with 10+ people, in my opinion!

At age 20 I met my husband. He was number 25 for me.   I'm like number 67 for him. Doesn't bother me. We have loads of experience and awesome sex chemistry. A number is just a number. It doesn't define you.
