After booth renting for nearly 2 years, I'm actually opening MY own salon!! MINE!! Knowing I now own my own business has got me feeling a high I've never felt before!! I can't post it on my Facebook page yet because I'd much rather keep it a secret since I live in a small town, but I need to tell some people!! I'm too excited to keep it to myself! It's 2 separate office spaces I'm turning into 2 private suites. I've already rented out the other suite to a good friend who will be my salon manager. Here's the best part: my rent is $350 for the rooms if it's just me, and $450 if I hire someone. This includes electric and utilities. We only have to pay $225 a month between the 2 of us!! This is an opportunity of a lifetime, and I could really use some support and good luck!! Here's some pictures of the salon as it is right now. The rooms are 13x11 and 12x11. I've already gotten stations and storage plus a leftover bookshelf and bench from a private suite I worked in at a barbershop I was in. I got the station and storage chest (dresser w/ mirror and chest of drawers) for a whoppin' $120!!!! It was a steal! I just have to hire a plumber, paint the room (grey with dark brown or black trim), and pull the carpet and lay down flooring!! I'm so ready for this next adventure in my crazy life!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
