How reliable are ovulation tests?

Question

I took an ovulation test everyday during my fertile window and got a positive on cd 17. I managed to conceive that month. Yeyyyyyy.

My question is how reliable are the tests? According to my 12 week scan, I conceived on cd 13. The reason I am asking is because I have been trying to conceive for 4 years and have relied alot on these tests for a guideline. I'm thinking now, that I may have not conceived because I have been missing ovulation altogether.

Anyone else had a similar experience?

Opk is one of the most easiest and reliable thing to predict ovulation.

All I can say is the first month I used opk I got my positive cd16 probably ovulated cd17 and I got pregnant that month
