Today, my boyfriend and I had sex and he also poked me really hard, harder than usual and for the first time in a while. It was fine and did not hurt during or after or even now. A couple hours later I went to the toilet to find that I had started bleeding. I have already had my period this month and it is not due for another 2 weeks. Aside from that I thought maybe my cycle has just gone a bit out of whack and I assumed it was my period, as I don't always feel my period coming! I don't usually have symptoms until it has hit so thought it could be likely. I then went about and put a tampon in, then when it came time to change, there was no blood on my tampon, whereas if this was my period my first day is always extremely heavy? So I've stopped bleeding completely, and I am confused as to why I could have been bleeding. It doesn't seem likely that it was caused by the poking as that has not happened before but it's really the only explanation I can come up with. Is this normal? what could be the cause?
