teething??

Baby is born dec 20 she is ebf now 5 months old and 10 days has fever 102.5 is she teething? She is very healthy no cough of colds she just have fever. Im so sick worried. Anything to help me sooth her?

Anything over 100.4 needs to be brought to the doctor asap! Teething doesn't usually bring fever with it so I would definitely contact the pediatrician

Ear infection possibly!! Go to pediatrician a fever that high is concerning 😩

Our ped told us that at this age if it gets to 104 then take them in. They can handle it. I'm like whaaaaa?! I would've taken my LO in at 102 too. Keep up with the Tylenol tho, you need to keep it from rising too high

Teething doesn't cause fevers, if temp is high then it's something else

My LO had a fever that high and the nurse just told me to watch it and give her baby Tylenol if she looks like the fever is making her fussy and stuff. But I also read that the fever needs to do its job so I didn't give her any Tylenol and she was fine after the one day.
