5'3" 147-150lbs: Trying to lose at least 10 more pounds
Hey everyone! I was seeing a lot of height and weight posts as well as others trying to lose some weight. I am now 20 and 147-150lbs, fluncuates all the time. So, here's some of my story.
All throughout junior high and high school, I was anywhere between 115-130lbs, depending on if I wanted to exercise or not, but I would always be able to lose excess weight within a couple months if I wanted to.
During Senior year, I was more towards the 125-130 range as I was always stressed with college coming up and a new relationship.
As my relationship grew with my still current boyfriend, I went to a nearby college and was always stressed because of the change and I had an anxiety disorder, as well. In November, my boyfriend and I decided it was best to stop having little pregnancy scares and I wanted to regulate my period more, so I had Mirena IUD put in. Within 6 months, my body changed so much. Of course I was in a loving relationship so I wasn't so worried about my body, so unfortunately, I gained that freshman 15 plus some and then a few more.
By this time, it was summer and I was so mad at myself for weighing 160 from being no more than 130 all my life. My boyfriend had also gained some weight and still to this day thinks I'm beautiful no matter what. I definitely love him for that😍 However, I needed a change. I was always depressed and crying and NEVER happy I looked so much different from high school.
Finally, in July of 2016 (8 months on IUD), I decided to get Mirena taken out. At this point, I was 165lbs. The weight gain and emotions were way too much for me and many people told me that it was known for that. Of course, I didn't expect that my weight would fall off immediately, but I started to realize that I would be weighing myself every other day if not every single day. I know that is not a good thing to do..
2 months later- October- I finally saw 5 pounds off the scale. I'm not sure if I just wasn't so stressed or what it was, but I was now below 160. I also started hanging out with my original high school girlfriends again and began to feel back to normal. Two of my friends were always working out at Planet Fitness, so I decided to be a guest once to try out the gym. After just an hour of cardio and weight training, I felt SO GOOD! I kept asking to go with them and became addicted.
January 2017, I had my own Planet Fitness Black Card membership. These two friends and I also planned a vacation for June 2017 to go back to our senior trip location at Myrtle Beach. I needed to get this extra weight off and feel myself again.
A couple months and several workouts later, I am now anywhere between 147-150 lbs, however, since I started working out, my period has became VERY irregular.. I have been anywhere from 5-17 days late and I'm not pregnant. So, I decided to call my OB and talk with her about my health. She has so far advised me that being two weeks late can be okay especially since my mother has already had irregular periods, too.
She put me in the pill called Vienva last week and I am so far taking it correctly this whole week. I'm hoping I don't gain much if any weight back, as I am also getting back into working out again at least 3 times a week. Dealing with a busy schedule of full time school, part time ( 25/week) job on campus, joined another club, and start my internship tomorrow morning.
So, I am trying to getting back to 130 , but even with working out and doing my best to eat healthy, I can't seem to get to the lower 140s yet. ANY TIPS OR TRICKS??
