Has anybody have a high risk pregnancy and their second one be ok????

I'm worried something will happen just like my first pregnancy. ....

My first pregnancy was complicated by pre-term labour @24w, which they were thankfully able to stop (my son is 16 now). Second pregnancy, my daughter (14 now), was so textbook it isn't funny, smooth sailing all the way, short labour, and I went home from the birth centre 4 hours after she was born. This pregnancy, my third, is high-risk due to my age (almost 36), along with many health issues I have now that were not present when I had my first two. I've also been spotting for nearly a week, but an ER visit today confirmed that my HCG is good (10,268) and the gestational sac and fetal pole are established. I'm only 5w2d now, so too early to see a heartbeat, but it was a relief to get my numbers back so well and see what we could. Hang in there, and try to relax as much as you can!

My only normal pregnancy was my 1st. All my others (I have 4 living children) were high risk. When I was pregnant with my youngest son I was considered high risk because of my prior history and because my cervix kept getting shorter and was causing concern. He was the only little one I had completely full term and completely healthy. Even my 1st healthy pregnancy he was born early.

Has anybody have a high risk pregnancy and their second one be ok????
