career choice? help appreciated:)
I always wanted to be a police officer however now I'm getting married and wanting a family. Training and the job would require me to be away from home for months to attend academy and then at least 3 years of night shifts.
It was easy to accept that before I had someone who cared about me and I started to want a family.
Now I think I'm starting to change my mind. I will graduate in December with a bachelors in criminal justice and a minor in police studies. I really want to work with juveniles in the system. I've already looked into juvenile corrections but I would like to take a different approach where I can interact with them on a personal level anc help them get out of the system/lifestyle. Any ideas? T.I.A 😘
