Is it possible for me to be a surgeon and psychologist? I know that both are time consuming. With a minor of entrepreneur.

Okay I know this sounds like a dumb question, but I'll rather ask of it and gets others opinion than anything. I really love both the medical and psychological field. I would love to become both if I can while having a business.

When it was just me wanting to become a surgeon. People would tell me it was unrealistic for me to have that goal and mindset. So I ended up switching to having the mindset of psychology due to the heartbreak of hearing those words come from people I cherish , but even then people saw fault in me study psychology also. Somehow I came to the conclusion of just doing both; the double major and minor. So please help

You could go the medical route with a minor in neuro or another psych field. Only majoring in psych may lessen your options

It's two different jobs, but what about becoming a psychiatrist? Then you'd still get your medical degree.

Most surgeons are encouraged to be as detached and distant from their patients as possible. You can't preform to the best of your ability if you're too emotionally involved.

Why not just apply for medical school and see what fields suit you best whilst you're studying?

The future is going to be filled with a lack of doctors. Especially with the way Healthcare is going #thanksTrump. Anyway become a surgeon. It's a long road but you can do it! Don't let people tell you what's unrealistic.

Each of those paths are hard enough on their own, but if you are willing to focus every moment on school it's possible. If not, maybe go pre-med with psychology and business minors.

The psychology industry is flooded rn! I'd recommend doing surgery! I think it would kinda be unrealistic to do both..it would be like trying to be a divorce lawyer but also a prosecutor. Like 2 different jobs. Plus we need more women surgeons 💪
I'm pre med in the fall too ! I want to study cardiothoracic surgery when I get out of med school 
I'm majoring in Spanish though🤷‍♀️ As long as you take your pre reqs no need to major in biology or chemistry !
