Benadryl

Is anyone else here taking benadryl daily for allergies and or sleep issues? I have major sleep issues and my dr said it's safe to take every day throughout my pregnancy but I've just been taking it here and there when I'm desperate for sleep (if I haven't had for days) or allergies! If you are taking it, how often and what for and what dosage?!  Do you ever feel guilty for taking it?! I feel terribly guilty taking it even though various sources have told me it's ok to take and it's actually prescribed for pregnant women with pupps but I don't know why I'm feeling so so so guilty!!!!! 😀👼❤️ thanks in advance!
