Can baby sleep in onesie?

I'm talking the short sleeve thin ones. She wore jammies last night and this morning was sweaty. I don't want her to get too cold but I don't want her to get too warm either. (She's 3 months btw) should I just put her in warm jammies or leave her in a onesie and put pants on too? Sorry if this is stupid.

What's the temp in her nursery? I'd try a onesie and if she seems cold, try a onesie and pants tomorrow night!

We do pants and onesie. It's hot in our house right now but she has little chicken legs that I don't want to get cold since we have a fan going in there.

Mine sometimes wears onesies but our home temp is usually around 73 or 74 and she ends up in bed with me and she's a little furnace like her dad and she practically sweats at night if she's in a nightie! But I try putting her in thin nighties and then onesies if she is wanting to sleep with us

I always did a onesie and swaddles in a very light Muslin blanket

Totally depends on the the temp in your house. It could be totally fine! This is a great case for sleep sacks, btw. We can get our son in one without waking him up if it gets too chilly at night
