Can I use Oliver even though

my SO has a friend whose son's name is Oliver. They aren't best friends, but they are close enough. It's the only boy name I have even considered though. I had the name picked out before my SO even met his friend lol. I don't want to seem like I'm stealing it. Idk how they would feel if we had a boy and named him Oliver too. What do y'all think? Is it ok, not ok, or should I ask for their permission first?
