am I going to be pouring out milk forever???

FTM here and I'm just wondering if I should be expecting to pour out milk all night until I wean my son. It's super annoying especially when I'm feeding him and the other breast starts pouring out milk at the same time 😣😣😣😣

Any tips? I'm desperate lol

You can buy milk savers to wear while nursing that collect the milk that leaks, easy way to start a freezer stash!!

It doesn't last forever! My tips would be to just wear breast pads and I used to even stuff a burp rag in my bra on the opposite side I was feeding from because I used to leak like that. I found that around 3 months, my letdown wasn't so powerful anymore so that stopped happening during feedings. I stopped leaking just in general probably a little before that between 2-3 months... They say around that time is when your supply regulates and you only produce what your baby needs after that. Good luck, it is so worth it in the end!

Blanket or pad on the opposite breast. You may constantly pour or you may regulate and not leak quite so much.

I only leak if I'm really full now! (Probably started around 3/4 months) your supply will regulate

You can squeeze the nipple and hold for a couple seconds to stop the leak. 
Mine gradually decreased and at around 10 mo this I fully stopped leaking
