Even though I didn't want him to meet them in that situation or them to feel like I had invaded, I felt like it couldn't wait. I was right. We went on a Sunday to visit. Wednesday night in the middle of the night, my SO had to drive me to the hospital, and my brother was dead by midday Thursday. For all my anxieties, I wish I had made them meet sooner.
