First cycle day is the 1st day you start your period each month. Typically ovulation is within the 
1.5 to 2 weeks before your next cycle start days. Calculating exact ovulation is very easy in the end (once you get the hang of it ) but to do that you have to monitor all information(start and end days of
Cycle, length of cycles, number of days between 1st day of  previous/last cycle & 1st day of next /upcoming cycle and more )  and really get to know
Your body  for a few months . Then you can get down to the exact days you are ovulating.
