Getting Tested

So I recently got tested for STD's at my yearly and the results came back clean and now I'm wanting my boyfriend to get tested because I want to try unprotected sex.

I'm 19 and I'm on birth control and we've had sex before, I'm just wanting to try it unprotected for his birthday in a few months so I want to make sure he's clean first.

I've already casually brought up him being tested and he said he'd do it when he had money since he's super broke right now, but I want to bring it up again but I don't know how to do that without sounding pushy.

Any advice?
