hey guys! the opportunity for me to have sex for the very first time has come along and i'm not sure if I should do it or not. it seems like everyone I know has had their first time with someone special to them. should I wait, or is it not a big deal to lose your virginity to someone who you don't have feelings for?

For me my first time wasn't a big deal, I mostly felt like I wanted to get over it. It doesn't sounds great but oh well. I did it with a guy I used to see every summer but I didn't have feelings for, we each went our own way a week or so later, and I never regretted it. But I felt 100% ready and I didn't question it too much. Maybe you're not ready and that's ok. Either way do what you feel is right and don't forget to wear condoms!

I lost my virginity when I was 17. It sounded like a good idea at the beginning cause all my friends already lost theirs. I was dating this guy for 3 weeks when it happened. Well most of my friends regretted and wishes they could leave it for the right one. I told myself I wanted to keep it for the one I marry and I did. I'm not religious, I just wanted to wait for the right one. So glad I did and honestly I don't feel like I'm missing out. If you only want to lose it because everyone else is losing it then no.
