When will my period ever be regular??

Is there anything I can do for my period to become regular? I haven't been on birth control in like 7 months and it's still up and down but only a few days difference

To give a little more info, vitex is a natural supplement. It's made from the berries of a tree/bush that grows in the Mediterranean and has been used since the time of the Greeks  and Romans. If you can't find it under vitex also look for chaste tree (that's what mine was), chaste berry, or monks pepper. They used to think it helped decrease libido, hence the common names :) I'm only a month or so in but I'm hoping it will help my crazy irregular cycles. Actual studies are mostly related to whether or not it helps with certain pms symptoms like sore breasts, but anecdotal evidence suggests it can help with regulating cycles.
