My LO has been a distracted nursling since about 4 months, only getting worse and feeding for shorter times. His weight has been leveling off, and his decreased interest in breastfeeding (sometimes outright refusal) and now sleeping through the night (🙌) has caused my supply to suddenly plummet and I can't pump enough for daycare AND nursing at home. Besides the fact that I'm so done trying to wrangle my active 7 month old and force him to the breast when he'd clearly rather take a bottle (and hold it himself!).

So this is my pubic goodbye to and letting go of the bittersweet breastfeeding relationship we had, and moving into the next chapter of his babyhood.
