do you regret "getting fixed"?

this question is for any woman who has had a tubal ligation, hysterectomy, or any other form of *permanent* sterilization 🙂

I have a beautiful two year old little girl who was planned and is my whole world. 💜

But for mental / emotional / physical health reasons I very strongly feel that a tubal is the right choice for me to prevent another pregnancy. I have felt this way for two years.

My doctor, of course, wants me to wait until I am at least 25 before *HE* "will even consider it".

I don't believe it's his right to tell me when I can make choices for my own body. But I just would like to hear opinions from other women who have been through this. How old were you when you became permanently sterilized and do you regret it?
