Your opinion on the epidural? yes or no

I don't know what to decide on. If I should go natural or for the epidural.

Idk I got the epidural with both of my kids and don't regret it.

Had an epidural with my first and while it made labor pain free I wasn't prepared for how much pain I was going to be in once it wore off. My second I didn't get an epidural and was up walking around an hour after having him feeling sore but not near as bad as my first

I had an epidural at 7 cm with pitocin. I think I could have done it if I didn't have that. I'm curious though if they numb you for stitches if you don't have epidural

I was all anti epidural til I experienced back labor and pelvis contractions and I changed my mind REAL QUICK and had to get the epidural or I'm convinced I would have literally passed out for a week. I won't ever labor again without one. The downside is I felt disgusting afterwards and had a pretty rough recovery

I've never had an epidural so am inclined to say natural birth. I just liked being able to get up straight away and move around.

I got it and will always get it. It was FANTASTIC.

Honestly I think unmediated births are over rated. Usually just a bunch of women doing it because it is what is popular right now, and everyone romanticized birth so much.

Makw the decision in the moment, but lord knows ill always get that epidural.
