Would you make a second baby registry for your new baby if you had a child less than a year or two before?

My son turns one next week and I am having another boy so I told my friends I don't want another shower, however they insist on a "sprinkle". I told them just diapers since we honestly don't need much. That being said I am going to do a registry, but only for the items that I want to buy myself simply because you earn a cash coupon with babies r us based on the amount purchased off of your registry. I won't be telling anyone that I registered and will just add items when I go to purchase them so that everything is fulfilled if someone happens to search for a registry.

I'm dealing with this predicament. My mom/grandma says no to a baby shower but all my friends say yes. My son is 2 
I'm now pregnant with a baby girl.

Probably, but I feel like it would be a much smaller registry.

I did. It was smaller and had a double stroller on it and just necessities like bottles,  pacis, diapers and wipes.
