I have been for my 16 week check up today, everything was ok until the midwife wanted to check the heartbeat. She proceeded and couldn't find one, she went on to say there is a possibility I have and anterior placenta (positioned at the front) blocking the sound of the heartbeat. She said not to worry and all will be revealed at my 20 week scan. I have felt flutters and the first real kick this week, but today since my appointment I've not felt anything. I can't help but worry, should I be worried or am I reading too much into it. I don't feel like I can wait until April 7th to find out! Has anyone else experienced this?
