Essure?

Question

Anyone know anything about Essure? I read that it's made out of the same stuff a heart stent is and is placed inside your tubes to prevent any other pregnancies. It's a permanent birth control. Anyone know anyone who has it? Have you heard any good or bad stories about it? I'm thinking this will be my last baby and would just feel better hearing others thoughts, opinions, and experience.

There is a huge lawsuit ion against Bayer because of the many side effects. I have it and I haven't had any of the more severe side effects but I do have terrible periods and gained so much weight o have trouble losing.
I know two people that hadto have hysterectomies

Its horriable ive had it since 2013 and i have had nothing but problems since i got the essure i suffer from severe migraines that started about a month after i got it i have low abdominal pain at least 3 to 4 times a week i have now been diagnosed with ovarian cyst and i never had so many issues with my body as i have since i got this done.... Im actually considering having its removed im waiting to get a appointment with a obgyn to discuss it further.... Getting the essure was the biggest mistake of my life....

I read an article about it a while ago and it said that there has been many cases of people who began having serious problems after 5 years, because the springs moved to other places in their body and they had to go through surgery to get them removed. However, they may have improved the procedure, that was people who got it more than 5 years ago. I know I'm not giving you too much information, but it's what I can remember. I hope it helps.

I would suggest looking up post tubal litigation syndrome.  I know someone that had essure and it caused a lot of issues

Never heard of it but I know the one that goes into your uterus has failed some as it can detach and fall out or implant into the wall.
