Pregnant right away?

Question

Does anyone else want to try to get pregnant right away? I had to go through fertility treatment to get pregnant with my little guy who is now 6 days old! And I have heard that you are most fertile right after you have a baby so I wanted to try to get pregnant as soon as possible.

I got pregnant after my first period with my first (which I had even though I was strictly breastfeeding...... if you breastfeed it normally keeps your periods/ovulation away). Anyways, my son was only 3.5 months old when I got pregnant again. It's a harder pregnancy than my first because my body wasn't fully ready so it's a bit more painful but it's manageable. Your midwife or dr will probably advise against it because complications can arise. There is a lot of women who have multiple back to back pregnancies and loved it so I guess it all just depends. It can be draining as well caring for a baby while pregnant as well all the bending over, picking up, running around but that can really be said with just any aged child. Best to really think about it and maybe talk to your dr or midwife and tell them your reasoning and see what they have to say. Good luck!!
