Constipated baby 💩

My LO is on soy formula and has always had a hard time pooing. Well now that he eats solids too, I thought it'd be easier because he eats lots of veggies and fruits but it almost seems worse. It's so hard, and he screams when he goes #2. I feel so bad. Anyone have suggestions? I was thinking maybe more water or adding juice to his diet.
