I told my family I wanted to committ suicide, I did the right thing?

I reached out like what people say after they lose someone to suicide. I reached out like the commercials say for SUICIDE awareness. I tried to get help and I told family and guess what happened nothing. I guess it is what it is.

I have no one no friends or anything. I don't even know why i wasted my time telling them. They dont even care. Literally none of them.

I've attempted to do the same thing n u know what I analyzed it will solve?  NOTHING! Let there be no reason too hard in life to make u wanna take your life.. Everyday won't b easy but everyday it's not gonna b hard.. We have to grow through things there is so much to live for and it's so many ppl whether you know it or not who loves u.. Live to fight another day I wish I could call my grandparents so don't think like that.. As for your family love them with the love of God even if it's from a distance..  and I pray God's blessings upom you 😘😍.. I love you if no one else does!!

1-800-273-8255 is the number for the national suicide prevention lifeline phone number if you need to talk to someone that will listen. I'm sorry that you're going through this alone. I had a friend that committed suicide and i later found out she did reach out to ppl but she didn't reach out to me. Reach out to more ppl friends family even those you haven't talked to in a while. or just call the hotline and they can help you. I don't know you personally so i don't know how to help but just remember whatever it is you are going through IT GETS BETTER! Killing yourself doesn't make your problems go away it just makes sure that you never have the opportunity to get better. Stay Strong! It gets better!!

Please talk to someone else. My daughter has had suicidal thoughts, and she is now doing so well with counseling and she has recently started anti-depressants. Do not ignore it and continue those thoughts. Please talk to someone else, a friend, a different relative, a suicide hotline or something. Do not lose hope and find help as soon as possible. It can get better.

Many people do not know how to respond, but reaching out was a huge step and I am so happy you were able to make that step.
